Starting out on the Squaw Valley Freestyle Team offered my first glimpse at actually having an Olympic future. It was an invaluable opportunity that I wouldn’t trade for the world! It all started in the locker room some 13 years ago when all I wanted to do was have some fun. Had I never been asked to be on that team I probably would not be where I am today. So it is my duty to make sure as many kids as possible get on their local teams and create some memories of their own. I made a lot of friends, played pranks on my teammates, traveled the country, got better at skiing, and started to make that Olympic dream a reality.
So in my effort to help young kids around the country I’ve put together this map of the U.S. Just click on a state and it will give you all of the information for any local freestyle programs. Don’t panic if you live in a state that does not have a freestyle team. Just beg your parents to move to another state in your quest for Olympic GOLD - I’m sure they’ll go for it! If you can’t find what you need, you can always contact me and I will try my hardest to get some information for you. Good luck and I better see a huge increase of freestyle skiers over the next decade!!!!!!!
