Shannon’s December Update

As Christmas Day comes racing toward us, I’m busy trying to find and wrap the gifts I’ve hidden around the house, hoping Snowflake the elf comes up with a few last creative pranks, and double-checking that I didn’t forget the teachers, coaches, bus drivers, delivery heroes, and anyone else who keeps our kids and lives moving. Add in my kiddos now officially on Christmas break… I didn’t carve out time for a deep, quiet, introspective yearly wrap-up.

So instead, I wrote you a 2025 song to enjoy. Please imagine it performed in my truly terrible singing voice. You’re welcome.

ON THE TWELVE DAYS OF REFLECTION

On the 12 days of reflection, my life gave to me…

Twelve months of chaos

Eleven times I failed

Ten grateful pauses

Nine packs of glitter

Eight hard-earned lessons

Seven road trip playlists

Six dreams come true

FIVE GROWTH SPURTS

Four big pivots

Three needed vacations

Two muddy kids

And one life I love………unconditionally!

This year stretched me, surprised me, humbled me, made me cry, and filled my heart in ways I didn’t see coming. I’m grateful for the lessons, the laughter, the long days, and the people I get to do life with.

And next year? New dreams. Bigger goals. Brave business moves. Same heart. Same WHY. A little more wisdom. A lot more lived experience. Here’s to the magic of showing up, the grit behind the glitter, and the joy of the journey. Thank you, 2025. I’m grateful for all of it.

Thank you for being part of my journey and sharing in this season of life with me. I wish you and your family a healthy, loving, fulfilling, and adventurous 2026. Let’s step into it with courage, gratitude, and a whole lot of joy. I’m ALL IN, let’s do this!!
